Submitting a request is free. We first check scope, legality, timing, distance and feasibility. If we cannot responsibly accept it, you are not charged.

Accepted tasks receive a reference such as MT-0017, with the agreed action, timing, deliverables, exclusions and total price recorded in writing.

Transport, travel time, parking, tolls or other agreed expenses are shown in the quote before you decide to pay. Changes need your approval.

Longer-distance requests
Mateetaly is currently founder-led, so travel matters. Outside the confirmed local area, the quote may include transport costs + travel time. Longer journeys may be priced as a half-day or full-day engagement. Any parking, tolls, trains or overnight costs are agreed before payment — never added afterwards without approval.

If the distance, timing, risk or scope does not make sense, we simply tell you before payment.
We don't pretend.
Legal, tax, medical, immigration, technical inspections and other regulated work stay with qualified professionals. Where appropriate, a Mate can help coordinate them.

Mateetaly is deliberately starting small. We would rather say “not yet” than take payment for a task we cannot execute properly.
Do I pay when I send a request?
No. A request is free and does not commit you to anything. We first confirm the task, feasibility, timing, travel and final price.
What happens if you cannot take my request?
Nothing is charged. During the founder-led beta, requests are accepted case by case. Your request also helps us understand where future local Mate coverage is needed.
What if my problem needs an expert?
We will tell you. A Mate can help with practical coordination, but Mateetaly does not replace qualified legal, tax, medical, immigration, engineering or other regulated professionals.
What if the Mate does the task but the third party still says no?
You are paying for the agreed task to be carried out — for example attending a meeting, documenting a property or making agreed enquiries. We cannot guarantee decisions or outcomes controlled by third parties.
Why can prices vary by location?
The task fee covers the work itself. Distance can add transport costs and travel time, especially while the service is founder-led. You will always see the full quote before deciding to pay.
How do I know what I am paying for?
Before payment, accepted tasks are confirmed in writing with the agreed scope, location, timing, deliverables, exclusions, travel costs and total price. Changes to scope require your approval.
Do I pay a Local Mate directly?
No. As the network develops, customer payments are intended to stay with Mateetaly so task records, support and payment history remain in one place.
